Huntsville, Al – On Saturday September 28 Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Girl Scout Troops, 682, 674, 664, & 729 held their Annual Bridging Ceremony in the Charles L. Ray, Jr. Family Life Center. This event is a traditional ceremony for girls who are already Scouts, to officially go to the next level. Following the ceremony, a cook-out was held for the girls to receive their “Father and Me” Fun Patch. The important male figures in the lives of these girls, who were in attendance, cooked and served hamburgers and hotdogs. The success of these troops would not be possible without the support of parents and volunteers.
